Located adjacent to Stanley Park along picturesque Coal Harbour, The Westin Bayshore is a historic hotel overlooking Vancouver’s waterfront. Popular for both business and leisure guests, the hotel has 499 spacious guests rooms and suites, Western Canada’s largest hotel conference centre, Vida Wellness full service spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and the recently opened H2 Rotisserie & Bar.
But, what many people don’t know about The Westin Bayshore is their historic past. The elusive billionaire Howard Hughes “lived” at the hotel for six months in 1972 where he made his way in and around the hotel without any staff or other guests seeing him. Today, you can stay at The Hughes Suite for grab a drink at the newly opened HJU:Z cocktail bar.
