To celebrate world photography day, our friends over at Apple have shares some of their insider tips for taking the best photographs you can on your iPhone. Whether you’re capturing moments at home or saving memories for your next adventure, here are some easy tips for you to try to snap the best shots. 1. Understand the different camera modes With your iPhone, you can shoot in a variety of modes to capture pictures in multiple ways. – Photo. The standard mode in Photos app that supports taking traditional, still photos. The camera automatically focuses the image and adjusts the exposure based on what you’re pointing it towards. That way, you always start with a sharp, brightly lit photo. The first pod hotel in Canada opens this summer in Whistler

This August, the Pangea Pod Hotel opens it’s doors to welcome their first guests to their new shared accommodations in Whistler, BC. This is Canada’s first pod hotel offering an affordable and communal option in the middle of the bustling Whistler Village. Pangea’s rooms will, at most, cost half the price of a conventional hotel room, and usually far less, making traveling to Whistler more accessible for solo and budget travelers. Whistler’s first ever multimedia nightwalk opens at Cougar Mountain

Welcoming crowds night after night, Vallea Lumina is a spectacular multimedia nightwalk at Whistler’s Cougar Mountain through the mountain’s old-growth forest to walk the 1.5km trail. Vallea Lumina is the eighth nightwalk experience from Montreal-based Moment Factory and was brought to Whistler by the town’s very own The Adventure Group to create a multi-media experience within nature.
