Ushering a new chapter for one of the oldest resorts in the province, the historic Deerhurst Resort opened their brand new Lakeside Lodge just in time for the Canada Day long weekend. Since 1896, the Deerhurst Resort has welcomes generations of vacationers to this iconic lakeside retreat. The resort is best known for their 575 guest room accommodations, golf courses (the championship par-72 Deerhurst Highlands and full-length par-63 Deerhurst Lakeside) and 40, 000 square feet of functional space for meetings an event. But this summer, your summer adventure has been revitalized thanks to the opening of the brand new Lakeside Lodge.
Lakeside Lodge at Deerhurst Resort
With spectacular views and cottage-inspired interior design, Lakeside Lodge represents nothing short of the rebirth of Deerhurst’s iconic waterfront experience, which has been a hallmark on Peninsula Lake since 1896. Lakeside Lodge’s 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units now complement Deerhurst’s wider portfolio of resort home enclaves and hotel accommodations nestled throughout its 760-acre property. The Lakeside Lodge is located on the site of the original resort on Peninsula Lake and has 150 units that are designed with neutral colours and modern fabrics to capture the modern Muskoka aesthetic.
The Lakeside Lodge is part of a 10-year $500 million master-planned community transforming the resort to include a hotel, residential, retail and mixed-use building. While the units are individually owned, over 100 units are expected to be included in the guest room inventory available for rental by their owners.
Where is Deerhurst Resort Located
