Located at 280 Bloor Street West, Kimpton Saint George is the Kimpton brand’s first Canadian location. Kimpton Hotels have been pet-friendly since its founding in 1981. Kimpton Saint George offers pet-friendly accommodations with no weight or size limitations or additional fees — as long as they fit through the elevator your pet is welcome! Separate pet-free floors ensure guests with pet allergies are also cared for. Pet guests have access to a variety of amenities, including plush pet-beds, treats, water bowls, courtesy bags and the option to join the hotel’s signature nightly social hour.
Kimpton Saint George pet guests looking for a private ensuite will have the option of the Doggy Bathroom original (dogs weighing up to 20 pounds) or Mini size (mini pups and toy breeds under 10 pounds) at no charge during their stay. Pet guests can request the Doggy Bathroom for their stay at the time of booking or check-in and can purchase one for home directly through the hotel.
Offering the Doggy Bathroom at Kimpton Saint George helps our customers enjoy the same amenities of home while they travel,” said President & Founder Alain Courchesne. “Kimpton Saint George shares our values of having a well-designed space, while making sure our dogs travel just as comfortably and luxurious as we do.”
The Doggy Bathroom is the only dog litter box for toy breeds including males who lift their leg, featuring custom pee pads specially designed for vertical application. It is made of 100% recyclable plastic and can be used as a potty-training device for puppies, a seasonal solution for small breeds who cannot withstand extreme weather, or as an alternative when outdoor access is limited.
Bringing the Doggy Bathroom to Kimpton Saint George is another great step we’re taking to recognize the growing demographic of pet owning travellers,” said Nabeel Toubayly, General Manager, Kimpton Saint George. “The sleek and minimalist design of the Doggy Bathroom aligns perfectly with the design-centric focus of the Kimpton brand, creating a seamless inclusion to our list of services and amenities.”
