And, as adventurous as the Moxie’s menu can be, they also keep it local – the restaurant’s ethos is all about using ingredients that support farmers, like Windset Farms and Ponderosa Mushrooms inspired by executive chef Brandon Thordarson’s world travels and twenty plus years of kitchen experience. Choose between fresh summer apps, flavourful entrees and refreshing cocktail to have the perfect lounging experience at Moxie’s in summer.

What to Order

To Share – While this may not replace the adventure you wanted to have in Mykonos this summer, the roasted tomatoes (grown and sourced in beautiful B.C.) with whipped feta accompanied by straight-out-of-the oven sourdough ($15) is a delightfully savoury way to begin your meal. The roasted tomatoes are beautifully plated whole, but, when you mix them well with the feta it brings out the complex flavours in this dish.

To Eat– Even though we’ve all tried a number of recipes over the last few months while at home, tacos are one treat that might have been skipped because of all the elements that make each bite just right.  Thankfully, on Moxie’s summer menu not only are there are blackened shrimp tacos seasoned with zesty Cajun spices ($16), there is a fish option as well for you to try. Plus, if you’re looking for a low-carb option, on the starter menu there are cashew chicken and tofu lettuce wraps to try.

To Drink – Say yes way to a Rose Sangria for a refreshing and sightly carbonated summer treat garnished with fresh summer fruit and citrus.
